Claire was raised in Calgary and completed her Bachelor of Arts (with distinction) at the University of Alberta in 2008, majoring in history and minoring in classics. She then pursued her law career and moved to Cardiff, Wales, where she obtained her law degree at Cardiff University in 2013. While at Cardiff, Claire was a member of the Cardiff University Law Society. She was called to the Bar in September 2016, joining Ellis Legal Group soon thereafter. Her areas of practice include family law, estate planning and estate litigation.
Claire adores stage performance and has a multitude of hobbies that include acting, playing piano, composing music, singing and dancing – you may even catch her volunteering with community theatre or with the Okotoks Film Festival from time to time.
