Brittany joined Ellis Legal Group as a Student-at-Law in 2013 and was called to the Alberta bar in 2014. She has since been practicing with Ellis Legal Group in the areas of family law, wills and estates, and immigration. Although Brittany acknowledges that sometimes Court assistance is required to resolve family disputes, she believes that families are best served utilizing alternative dispute resolution methods to produce creative resolutions.

Brittany grew up in Calgary and attended the University of Calgary for two years studying Anthropology. She then headed to the United Kingdom to study at the University of Leicester to obtain her law degree.

During her time at law school, Brittany was an active member of the University of Leicester Students’ Union, Law Society and the Raising and Giving Association. She took part in numerous fundraising and charity events and helped to raise over £100,000.00 during her time at the University. Brittany was also a student representative at the University of Leicester for pro-bono initiatives and was a finalist in the law school debate competition.

In her free time, Brittany enjoys all summer activities including swimming, boating, hiking and golf. Brittany is an avid traveler and has been to 55 countries. She takes advantage of any free time she has to explore different countries and cultures.
